From time to time I go to my Happy Place which is the place where I am a person who makes punky pompom necklaces and t-shirt scarves and preppy pirate pendants and not where the Yarn Bag of Shame taunts me with knitting projects that came to bad ends. This is the place where I am a person who says, "Thanks so much! I totes made this myself!" in a joyful yet understated way before sauntering off in my salvaged bed skirt-turned-prom dress ensemble that I whipped up before work without even knowing how to sew.
