Hiya blog babies. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas (if that's what you're into). We've been all over the joint - first in Maine, with Fauxhawk's family, then in Brooklyn with mine, then, for the grand finale, an emergency root canal last night (during which I proved my amazing dental prowess by holding the saliva sucker and assisting the dentist as he drilled a hole the size of a pea into the Hawk's molar). Suffice it to say that when a fine spray of bloody spit hit my face, Fauxhawk and I took our relationship to a whole new level. Don't be jealous, people.
And now it's time for an adventure. We're sitting at the Food Court in JFK listening to the world's most eczema-inducing Christmas medley. The only thing between my eye and a rusty fork is the knowledge that in roughly five hours, we will be in a place where the buildings are no higher than a coconut tree and "Sunday School" is a time for getting really, really drunk and dancing on the beach to wild music.
Let's hope there's an internet connection because I want to share it all with you.
xox,
P.
