I've been griping so much about wedding planning that I sort of forgot that it's supposed to be a fun, creative, joyful process goddammit. After nearly beating the daylights out of Fauxhawk in my sleep, mumbling something about a rehearsal dinner from hell, I realized that it's time to chillax focus on the important things - like headgear.
In my fantasy world, I'd be a flamenco bride with a Frida Kahlo twist. I love the veils, the flowers, the ribbons - I dig the drama of it all. But seeing that my imagination is bigger than my balls (and that we are getting married in a venerable Greek Orthodox cathedral), I'll most likely rock something a little more...subtle.
These birdcage numbers are ringing my bell. Lord knows I have a thing for veils. I love that the little black dots are just sassy enough to say, "ROCK ME AMADEUS!" but still sweet enough not to scare the priest. Then again, I could be mistaken for a beekeeper in mourning.
Thoughts?
