I love French photographer's Irina Ionesco's work - you can really see her Romanian parentage shining through each of images. Ionesco is known for her erotic staging, and was criticised heavily for featuring her daughter in (what could be interpreted) as sensual poses. (I believe her daughter is slightly evil-looking curly-haired angel at the bottom.) I haven't seen anything that set off alarms, but I am more on the low-key end of the spectrum when it comes to this issue and I know not everyone feels this way.
At any rate, these women remind me of glamorous - and slightly dangerous - Transylvanian brides.
