Road Trip, Mexican Style: The Movie

The Pitch:

A heart-warming, rollicking tale of three thirty-something gringos, a car, a wad of bribe money, and the open road. When the frolicsome three go in search of dia de los muertos, they find out that SOMEONE forgot to pack the toothpaste AGAIN.

If you liked "Y Tu Mama Tambien," you'll love "Road Trip, Mexican Style" - unless you appreciate fun sexy bits and nice beaches in a movie, in which case you should rent "Y Tu Mama Tambien."

The Cast:

P. (aka "Charles in Charge"): Devastatingly gorgeous, effervescently charming, slim and supple like a nubile Brazilian (this is MY MOVIE, OK?). Not bossy at all, not convinced that this will be her last trip ever, not at all likely to wake everyone up at 7:30 for a heavy day of sight-seeing.

Fauxhawk (aka "Strong Thunderstone"): Excellent head of hair, three-day beard growth (at minimum). Not inclined to read the guidebook, not likely to arise before noon, or leave hotel before consuming seven cups of coffee. Will stay up until 4am every night researching random Mexican trivia on Wikipedia for the delectation of the cast.

Loverboy (aka "Eliott Nugent-Harbinger): International man of attempted romances. Not likely to score. Spanish speaker, Mexico dweller, car owner, tie breaker, reluctant referee, all around mensch.

Sometimes teenage koala mothers go to the beach with their albino koala babies and fall asleep in the sun after drinking half a dozen Victoria Bitters and smoking spliffs with their deadbeat boyfriends. This behavior is representative of the continuing disintegration of family values and it must be stopped.
