Business Barbie has her hands full today with numerous business-y type matters of grave importance. She may be posting later. Then again, she may not. That's how she rolls because today she's all about TCB.

In the meantime, here's a question for you:

Is it weird that when my mom was giving me her bureau last night (a Danish modern chest of drawers my parents bought in 1961 - their first purchase as a married couple), she emptied out AN ENTIRE DRAWER of "mash notes?"

"Mom, what are mash notes?" I asked.

"Love letters from admirers," she said, matter-of-factly, as if every married woman in the world has a host of adoring fans.

I am in awe. And somewhat jealous. I mean, where are my secret admirers? Where, I ask you? I obviously need to get working on my mash drawer so I have something to show my daughter one day.
