Well, this is the last of it - what's left of our morning glories, which once bloomed with abandon. They seem to have come down with a dread disease and are fading fast. This picture captures their last gasp.
Fauxhawk and I used to argue about who was held sway over our little balcony garden. Before I moved in, I was relegated to the lowly position of Associate Landscape Architect, which was hardly a representation of my contribution and expertise. Finally, after a lot of bitching, I was promoted to Co-Executive Landscape Architect. I am supposed to wear this badge whenever I garden, just so there is no - you know - confusion.
Secretly, I know I am Chief Architect of Landscaping Affairs, but I humor Fauxhawk in his fantasy that we are on equal footing. After all, I didn't go to pretend landscaping school for four years to be Co-Executive anything.
