Everyone has been a little uptight at the office this week. Tensions are running high, stress levels are rising, and my boss looks as though she's about to commit hara-kiri with a letter opener. Though I'm usually the one who needs sedation, I'm trying to put things in perspective this time around (perhaps reading the amazing work my friend Stephanie is doing with students in Nairobi's sprawling slums that did the trick).

PILLOW FIGHT!
Too bad we missed International Pillow Fight Day, which took place in over 30 cities all over the world in March. Just ran across these wonderful pictures from dietrich's flickr set and wanted to share the delight I felt when I saw them. It's impossible not to smile at the sheer joy that went on for three hours in Union Square (and elsewhere).
And I'm thinking there are at least a few people I wouldn't mind walloping over the head with a big fat pillow - in the name of team building, of course.
