More value, MacPherson!

I've had some late nights at work and am even more pooped than I was when I last posted seventeen zillion years ago. In case you didn't know, I am a very important business-style person who is extremely busy barking commands at underlings, partnering for excellence, and creating lasting value.

Actually, I don't have any underlings. If I did, they would be the ones working until 2am this effing presentation, and I would be at Aquavit drinking flavored vodka. In my fantasy world, I have a bevy of young, terrified people doing my work for me while I eat lunch at Nougatine.

Hold on a second - can I have a redo on my fantasy world? In my new fantasy world, I am in the south of France right now, wearing a lovely Indian print dress or a jaunty striped shirt reading this wonderful book in the pellucid afternoon sun. I would also be able to wear bright lipstick without looking like a circus clown.





I promise to tell you about Greek Easter (Orthodox Easter for my anonymous friend), but I fear that it is now hopelessly built up and may be slightly disappointing. Bah. Anyway, you will hear from me soon, right after I beat my underlings. In the meantime, I made you a cup of Greek coffee and some koulourakia, cookies we eat at Easter that symbolize everlasting life.




P.S. I am a horrible person. Many of you have posted lovely comments and sent me wonderful emails and I love you all very much, but have not had a chance to reply. Everything you write means a tremendous amount to me, and the fact that you come here at all surprises and delights me. I have also been bad about commenting on your blogs of late - I still read and enjoy them tremendously.
