This Edward Gorey-meets-Grimm's Fairytales wallpaper from Minikana Walls is ringing my bell in all kinds of ways. I could go in for that apple green velvet couch, too. The Million Throw Pillow Syndrome is making me feel slightly fatigued, however - all I can think about it how they would eventually end up on the floor in a slovenly heap instead of arranged in a devil may care yet decorative manner across the divan.
Here's a word I like to say a lot these days: SCONCE. It's taken over mulch, distressed, and simple syrup as Most Overused Word in my personal lexicon. For instance, I was going to say, "Gee, that SCONCE with the purple and tangerine lampshades is really inspired. All there is between me and perfection is a SCONCE with mismatched shades." See what I mean? It will go on like this for days, maybe even weeks. Strap in.
