I don't understand. But I wish to continue.

The I Understand and Wish to Continue Award profiles fine art blogs that have been censored by Blogger for containing - hold on to your hats now - nudity. These Blogger screens suggest that what lies beyond is scurrilous and profane, discouraging readers from clicking into what is most often serious content.

It infuriates and baffles me that a few reckless people (and I'm certain it takes more than one disgruntled reader) could vandalize my blog in such a way. WPM may not be for everyone - it's not always baby pandas and cupcakes and unicorns and chirpiness (there are plenty of blogs that cover that material, and I read them with great pleasure). The focus of this esteemed online publication - if indeed there is one - is an exploration of what excites me, what ignites me, what grabs hold of my imagination. My greatest hope is that this passion will continue to binds us, as it has in the past. I thank you all for coming here, day after day, to wade hand in hand through the great beauty and imperfections of daily life.
